Student Film Awards

All films must be approved by sponsor/administration prior to submission. Sponsors shall eliminate or reject profane references to a deity and obscene language, actions or scenes from the entry. The teacher of the producing school shall assure that this entry complies with these requirements and that the entry does not offend the moral standards of the community. When the film is examined and approved by the teacher of the producing school, the film is eligible for screening. I certify that all necessary permission and/or licensing has been obtained from the owner of any and all rights, including copyright, of all music performed and images used in this film by this school. I also understand that the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District is not responsible for obtaining any necessary permission or licensing of the music performed or images used by the school.

There is NO FEE to submit entries. 

 

All films must be between 1:00-7:00 minutes. Nothing less than a minute or more than 7:00 minutes will be allowed.

 

NO Copyrighted music will be allowed. ONLY in the music video category. Student/Sponsor certify that all necessary permission and/or licensing has been obtained from the owner of any and all rights, including copyright, of all music performed and images used in this film by this school.

You are required to submit the URL link to an online version of your film on an external link site that will be active and working. If this link requires the use of login information to access the film, please provide the password or other information.
